Performance of Top Racing Games on iOS in Latin America - Q1 2021

Sensor Tower's latest data reveals the performance of the leading racing games on the iOS platform in Latin America for the first quarter of 2021. The top contenders have shown varying trends in downloads and user engagement.

Voodoo's Shortcut Run experienced a decrease in downloads from 103K in late December to 26K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, dropping from 225K to 111K in the same period.

Gear Race 3D, by Zynga Inc., saw a peak in downloads hitting 87K in early January before declining to 19K by the end of March. Active users peaked at 117K in early January, with a noticeable dip to 30K by the quarter's close.

Nintendo Co., Ltd.'s Mario Kart Tour maintained a steady performance in revenue, ranging from $16K to $21K weekly. Downloads saw a slight increase from 49K to 40K, and weekly active users saw a modest increase from 388K to 393K throughout the quarter.

Gameloft's Asphalt 9: Legends showed consistency in revenue with about $5K to $6K weekly, while downloads saw a rise from 24K to 29K from late December to late March. Active users remained stable, hovering around 67K to 70K.

Lastly, Voodoo's Tricky Track 3D had negligible revenue and a significant fluctuation in downloads, spiking at 49K in early February then falling to under 500 by the end of March. Active users peaked at 74K in mid-February before falling to 6.7K by the quarter's end.
